Soils - soils of the Lower Burdekin River - Elliot River area, North Queensland - BRB

TThis dataset is a Soil Profile Class survey of the Burdekin River-Elliot River area in North Queensland. The mapping covers parts of the Ayr and Cape Upstart 1: 100,000 map sheets (8358, 8458) and was completed in 1977. The mapping is at a scale of 1: 100,000 and 71 Soil Profile Classes were identified. The Lower Burdekin Valley has been divided into three major areas: - Right Bank (Burdekin River to Elliot River) which is this project. - Left Bank (Burdekin River to Haughton River) - Soils of the Lower Burdekin River Barratta Creek - Haughton River Area (BRL) - Southern Area - Survey of the Soils of the Lower Burdekin Valley, North Queensland (BSA).
