This dataset is a Soil Profile Class and land suitability survey of the Gilbert River, Chadshunt to Mt Sircom area in the Northern Gulf. The mapping covers parts of the Forest Home, Gilbert River and North Head 1: 100,000 map sheets (7561, 7461, 7560) and was completed in 1999. The mapping is at a scale of 1: 100,000 and 80 Soil Profile Classes were identified.
