Soils - soils and agricultural land suitability of the wet tropical coast, Ingham area, North Queensland - WTC

This dataset is a Soil Profile Class and land suitability survey of the Ingham area in the Wet Tropics, North Queensland. The mapping covers parts of the Cardwell, Ingham, Kangaroo Hills, Kirrama and Rollingstone 1: 100,000 map sheets (8161, 8160, 8060, 8061, 8159) and was completed in 1990. The mapping is at a scale of 1: 100,000 and 50 Soil Profile Classes were identified. The resources are described in terms of climate, geology, geomorphology, hydrology, natural vegetation and soils.
