Soils - soils and vegetation of the Mayvale Land System, Gulf of Carpentaria Region, Far North Queensland - MVL

This dataset is a Soil Associations survey of the Mayvale Land System in the Gulf of Carpentaria, Far North Queensland. The mapping covers parts of the Croydon and Normanton 1:250,000 map sheets (SE54-11, SE54-7) and was completed in 1974. The mapping is at a scale of 1: 250,000 and 4 Soil Associations were identified. At all sites where a soil profile was described, a check list of the major vegetation species was made.
