Soils - soil landscapes of the Cooloola-Noosa river area, South East Queensland - ZCNR

This dataset is a Soil Landscapes map of the Cooloola-Noosa River area in South East Queensland. The mapping covers parts of the Gympie, Laguna Bay and Wide Bay 1: 100,000 map sheets (9445, 9545, 9546) and was completed in 1984. The mapping is at a scale of 1: 100,000 and 21 Soil Landscapes were identified. It was undertaken by CSIRO and forms part of divisional report number 73. The area surveyed occupies 62000ha of the sand dunes, coastal plain, river flats and low sandstone hills, and includes all of the area upstream of Lake Cootharaba.
