Soils - Plane Creek sugar cane land suitability study, Queensland - PCS

This dataset is a soils map of the Plane Creek area, near Sarina in central Queensland. The soils map was produced as part of a cane land suitability survey (1:50 000) of the Plane Creek Sugar Mill area and adjacent lands. The study area adjoins the Mackay Study area at Alligator Creek north of Sarina, and extends southwards to Bluewater Creek between Flaggy Rock and Clairview. The eastern limit is the coastline and the western limit the Connors Range watershed.Please note that part of this survey has been superceded by SALI Project code 'SAR', 'Soil and land suitability survey of the Sarina area, North Queensland'. No report accompanies the remapped data.
