Soils - soils and agricultural suitability of the Childers area - CBW

This dataset outlines a land resource survey of 244 254 ha in the Childers area. This survey was undertaken to provide information for improved sustainable farming systems and for regional planning, catchment management and property management planning. There are 52 soils described as part of this survey.This is a medium intensity soils survey. It is based on aerial photography interpretation and ground observations of the order of one observation to an area of 100 hectares.
