Bushfire prone area - Vegetation hazard class - Cape York

This product is the vector (unsmoothed) version of State-wide mapping of the Vegetation Hazard Class (VHC). The VHC is an input to the State-wide Bushfire Hazard Area (Bushfire Prone Area) mapping (July 2014) prepared by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in conjunction with the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (PSBA). The VHC can also be used to support localised or site level assessments of the Bushfire Hazard Area (Bushfire Prone Area).This Vegetation Hazard Class download pack contains data for the Cape York including the following local government areas: Aurukun Shire Council, Cook Shire Council, Hope Vale Aboriginal Shire Council, Lockhart River Aboriginal Shire Council, Mapoon Aboriginal Shire Council, Napranum Aboriginal Shire Council, Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council, Pormpuraaw Aboriginal Shire Council, Torres Shire Council, Torres Strait Island Regional Council, Weipa Town and Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire Council.
