Bushfire prone area - Vegetation hazard class - Darling Downs

This product is the vector (unsmoothed) version of State-wide mapping of the Vegetation Hazard Class (VHC). The VHC is an input to the State-wide Bushfire Hazard Area (Bushfire Prone Area) mapping (July 2014) prepared by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in conjunction with the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (PSBA). The VHC can also be used to support localised or site level assessments of the Bushfire Hazard Area (Bushfire Prone Area).This Vegetation Hazard Class download pack contains data for the Darling Downs including the local government areas: Toowoomba Regional Council, Balonne Shire Council, Goondiwindi Regional Council, Maranoa Regional Council, Southern Downs Regional Council, and Western Downs Regional Council.
