Blue Card information is bound by The Right to Information Act 2009, Information Privacy Act 2009 and Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000, which restricts the level of information it is able to share.
If you are operating a child-related business under the act you may apply to register for the organisational portal to help you manage your blue card obligations and records more easily.
We aren't requesting access to any more data than the online validation tool already provides so there shouldn't be any issues in terms of the level of information needing to be shared.
While we are already using the portal, we want to provide an additional level of risk managment by validating on a regular basis, ie once a month.
The organisational portal will provide the features that you have requested, providing real time updates on the status of employees and volunteer blue card status. I have provided the below link that provides further information about the organisational portal.
