Redland City Council is developing projects for threatened species management. its identified there is the need to obtain the current threatened species locations for the Redlands LGA to be used internally only. It will directly help develop products required to achieve Councils goals in threatened species management, community conservation and habitat restoration.
having the specific location of EVNT & special least concern species located in the Redlands LGA will allow internal mapping and specific, strategic and targeted projects developed in order to achieve efficient conservation outcomes. Council currently has old data (over 10 years years of species and their locations).
