Hi there, I am the Local History officer at Gympie Regional Libraries and it has come to my attention that we are missing some gold mining reports (specifically Annual Report of the Department of Mines Queensland (Gympie) between years 1867-1877). These records would provide our library clients with crucial information about the history of gold mining in Gympie, such as where the mines were located, how much gold was extracted from each mine and the people who worked there. As well as this, this data would form an integral part of our Local History collection which is openly accessible to the general public for research. I would like to please request a copy of these documents or if not, the location of these documents so I can scan them for our collection.
