I'm trying to find the sale price (or the stamp duty paid) for every volvo s40 MY07 sold in QLD in the last couple of years.
The information that should be available should really be every vehicle sold and some basic information about the vehicle (year, KM's travelled, stamp duty paid etc)
I need the info so I can justify that the value of my volvo was higher than the insurance "blue book" or "red book" value that the insurance company believes is it.
The benefits of having access to this information, that bluebook or red book or whatever other "car value" metrics are declaring themselves the authority on the value of vehicles should be something that we can examine in comparison to FACT and sales figures actually representative of truth.
Otherwise the entire car value industry is open to devaluing or undervaluing or deliberate fraud.
