Priority Agricultural Expansion Area - Wide Bay Burnett Regional Plan
Priority agricultural expansion areas (PAEA) as identified in the final Wide Bay Burnett Regional Plan are clusters of areas where new and expanded high value agricultural developments may be feasible due to highly productive soils (Australian Land Classification Class A and Class B), strategic cropping land, existing agricultural operations and their estimated economic value to the region, the proximity of existing and proposed bulk water infrastructure and other supporting infrastructure.
