Land systems - western arid region land use study - part 1, Southern Queensland - AWA2
This dataset is a Land Systems map of the Western Arid Region Land Use Area- Part 1 of 6 in Southern Queensland. The mapping covers the Barrolka, Bulloo, Durham Downs, Eromanga, Eulo, Quilpie, Thargomindah, Tickalara and Toompine 1: 250,000 map sheets and was last updated in 2008. The mapping is at a scale of 1: 500,000 and 55 Land Systems were identified. This region lies within the 400 to 100 mm rainfall zone. The region forms part of the Eromanga Basin which is a sub-basin of the Great Artesian Basin.
