Flood extent - South West Queensland - 2012

This data consists of eight polygons over the towns of Bollon, Charleville, Dirranbandi, Mitchell, Mungindi, Roma, St George, Thallon and their nearby surrounds. It indicates the approximate inundation at the flood peak.Various means were used to capture each inundation line. They are as follows:LiDAR contours, damage reports supplied by Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA), media (ABC) oblique aerial photography, information and photographs supplied by Department of Resources (DNRM) regional officers, Council and community feedback, debris lines were also used where evident on imagery.Note: Flight date, resolution and other details for each town and surrounds can be found in the lineage statement below.
