Both sets of statistics are subject to the reporting grace period as outlined in https://www.dnrme.qld.gov.au/mining-resources/initiatives/reporting-changes-mining-resources. As such, companies have until 30 June, 2021 to submit the statistics in the new format to the department.

The Grace period started on 1 October 2020.
The June 2020 production data has already been submitted in the old format.
Base on the regs that data should be published in Jan 2021.

Due to technical problems and the on-going impact of Covid on staff availability, the petroleum statistics will not be available in January. A new release date is yet to be confirmed because of the current issues. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. The Department is currently working on compiling this data but is not able at this time to provide a firm date as to when they will be released. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Is the public reporting of this data being ceased? The last three reporting periods have been missed/skipped, with no data available for the last two years.
The linked information page for the data should also be updated, it currently says "You can download 6-monthly production and reserve statistics (from 30 June 2016)”, which is not true.

Have the issues publishing this data been resolved yet? I'm concerned that the updated data is still not accessible, and the same issues causing problems have not been resolved. There's a comment further up the threads that notes the data should have been published in Jan 2022 - is there a different link to access the new data available?
Hi Alison. I believe you were sent an email yesterday advising that the Production figures for 2020 have been published, and that the 2021 figures will be posted soon. They are also still working on the Reserves data but that will be released as soon as it's ready. Thank you for your patience. Maria
We are looking at releasing production 2021 in the near future and will suggest you of keep an eye on it in the next couple of weeks.

there are several errors in the Production figures for 2020:
- Some field names = 0 (32 rows)
- Some field names are blank (66 rows)
- Some basin names are reported under reservoir unit name (see the example of Zeus).

Petroleum Production data is available at: https://www.data.qld.gov.au/dataset/petroleum-gas-production-and-reserve-statistics and on 24 January 2023 Petroleum Production statistics up to 31 December 2021 were published.
Currently there are no set dates for the next release of statistics.

Can you please explain why there is there no reserve information (other than zeros) for any field post June 2020?
Is there a fault with the spreadsheet?
If not, when will the information for H2 2020 and 2021 be released?,

Currently there are no set dates for the next release of statistics.
