Land resource areas - Central Darling Downs land management manual, Southern Queensland - MCD

This dataset is a Land Resource Area map of the Central Darling Downs region in Southern Queensland. The mapping covers parts of the Chinchilla, Dalby, Goondiwindi and Ipswich 1: 250,000 scale map sheets and was completed in 2000. The mapping is at a scale of 1: 250,000 and 28 Land Resource Areas were identified with 66 associated Soil Profile Classes. The Land Management Manual which accompanies this map is a collation of land resource data, combined with local knowledge and experience, primarily concerning soils and their management.
