Koala Hospital Data - 2022 - 2023

Spreadsheet of koala hospital data extracted from the Department of Environment and Science koala hospital database (KoalaBase) between July 2022 - July 2023.
Data is displayed with dates in chronological order. Data supplied indicates the circumstances in which the animal was reported and includes the individual animal record number (where applicable), the gender, maturity level and health status at the time of initial assessment.
The location of the animal is identified by GPS coordinates and Local Government Area distinction.
The database provides information regarding the presence or absence of young, as well as outcomes for individual animals, including release circumstances and locations (where applicable).
Given the wide range of sources a 500m minimal margin of error must be applied to all location data provided as part of this dataset.
Columns containing personally identifying information have been redacted to ensure compliance with the Information Privacy Act 2009. Entering into a formal data sharing agreement is a prerequisite for provision of redacted data.
