Thank you for contacting the Queensland Government’s Fuel Price Reporting Open Data Portal about possible incorrect fuel price reporting.
Under the Queensland Government’s Fuel Price Reporting Scheme, all service stations in Queensland are required to report the price of all fuel they sell within 30 minutes of a price change.
If you find a service station not correctly reporting fuel prices, including one that is closed, please use the ‘Notify us about incorrect fuel prices’ on-line form at https://notify-fuel-prices.epw.qld.gov.au/. Some of the apps and websites that publish the reported fuel prices have a link to this form. The completed form is then sent to the Office of Fair Trading.
When completing the on-line form, please include a screen shot of the reported price on the app or website you are using, and a photo of the actual price on the fuel price board, fuel pump or receipt, or a photo showing the site is closed. This will provide evidence that may be used by the Office of Fair Trading.
If you have any questions about the Fuel Price Reporting Scheme, please call 3008 3607 or email fuelprices@epw.qld.gov.au.
Out of date data
How do you report out of date data? For example, the BP on Mons Road, Forest Glen has been closed for months, but it's still showing on the fuel data.
Perhaps you should consider removing data entries that are older than a week, as they are very much irrelevant.
