The Commodity File Collection (or 'Commodity Files') contains historical Queensland Government records pertaining to the State's resource potential and economic development.
The documents presented in this collection elaborate upon the geoscientific activities undertaken by Departmental officers in relation to understanding Queensland's natural endowment, land use, and the evolving development of its resource sector.
These records contain a myriad of information across a broad spectrum of data types. They include, although not strictly limited to:
