GIS Western Queensland Opals

The geographic data sets contained in this dataset present, in digital format, a variety of databases that have relevance to opal exploration and mining in western Queensland. They have been compiled from available detailed data sources within the Queensland Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI) or obtained from other government or private company sources, for use with their permission. The information should be used with caution below a scale of 1:250 000 due to the mixture of data sets compiled at different scales.
