The current report is the Final Activities Report ("FAR") for EPM27406 Hawkwood South Project, for years one (01) to three (03) reporting period (3rd December 2020 to 2nd December 2023). This Annual Tenure Report has been completed by UTM Global Ltd ("UTM") on behalf of the tenure holder, Auburn Resources Limited ("Auburn Resources"). DGR Global Limited ("DGR Global") acts as the operator of EPM27406 Hawkwood South Project.
The area is considered prospective for magmatic Ni-Cu sulphide mineralization within Permian- age mafic and ultramafic intrusive complexes. Auburn holds tenure over most of this emerging metallogenic belt and have identified potential evidence for magmatic sulphide mineralization within the Jack Shay, Calrossie and Quaggy intrusive complexes, specifically broadly spatially coincident Ni-Cu-Co+/-PGE soil anomalies with interpreted VTEM Max conductors.
Hawkwood South was selected to provide coverage over the southern margin of the Delubbra intrusive complex and additional magnetic anomalies in the adjacent sedimentary host rocks. The ground has previously been held by Auburn and was reacquired after airborne VTEM geophysics over the Jack Shay complex to the northwest indicated the potential for basement-derived VTEM conductors that possibly reflect magmatic Ni-sulphide mineralization.
At the conclusion of the first granted period of 3 years, Auburn Resources decided to surrender this tenement rather than renew, to focus its resources within more prospective tenements within its portfolio.
