GSQ TECHNICAL NOTES - TN2022/05 - INVERSION MODELLING FOR THE CLONCURRY AND CLONCURRY EXTENSION MAGNETOTELLURIC DATA

URL: https://geoscience.data.qld.gov.au/dataset/cr135059

This report contains 3D inversion modelling results for the Cloncurry and Cloncurry Extension magnetotelluric surveys. A suite of 16 models were tested and results from all modelling are included as figures in the report and in the modelling package in a variety of formats. Results of modelling show several strong conductors in the modelling area coalescing into a large mid-crustal conductor. Some of the identified conductors are associated with major faults, while others are discrete upper crustal conductors potentially of interest to exploration companies.
