EPC1744 MAYDO FINAL REPORT FOR PERIOD ENDING 13 DECEMBER 2021

EPC 1744 covers the deformed and structurally complex rocks of the Dawson Fold Zone on the eastern flank of the central Bowen Basin, adjacent to the Tertiary Duaringa Basin. The area is underlain by Tertiary sediments which cover lower sequences of the Late Permian Blackwater Group, and the Fair Hill Formation. Coal seams occur in the Fair Hill Formation, but they are generally poorly developed with high ash content.
