EPM 19114 Carbonate Creek Partial Relinquishment Report For Sub-blocks Surrendered on 12 September 2019

EPM19114 contains a sequence of Eureka Creek Rhyolite, Hodgkinson Formation sediments, and Lass O’Gowrie and Atlanta granites along the north-eastern margin of the Featherbed Volcanics. This margin in this locality is host to significant tin and base metal mineralisation as evidenced by a mining history from the late 1800’s up until the mid-1980’s.

As a condition of the renewal of EPM19114 during 2019 was a requirement to surrender 10 sub-blocks from EPM19114. The areas selected for relinquishment are considered to be of lesser prospectivity than those sub-blocks retained. The relinquished area were included within a regional prospectivity mapping program circa 2014-15 and there has been no field work within these relinquished areas since that time.
