EPM 18950 helps form the company’s Granite Belt Project alongside side Mining Lease ML 100106 and EPM’s 8854,11455, 12858 and 26275. During late 2016 and early 2017, the priority for MRV Metals has been the Granite Belt Project which comprises the restart of operations at the former Twin Hills Mine. The Granite Belt Project is relevant to the exploration potential surrounding ML 100106. Several prospects, mineral occurrences and deposits are located within the project and is of importance for potential expansion and extension of on operations and mineralization, respectively.
The tenement is situated central to EPM’s 8854, 11455, 12858, 18950 and 26275. Collectively, all EPM’s currently held by Granite Belt Project of MRV Metals are one project (i.e., operational mining and exploration areas). The main reason is that although ML 100106 holds the current mining activities, while the surrounding EPM’s outside the ML holds highly prospective exploration opportunity. The nature of the deposit types at Twin Hills, Mount Gunyan and the excluded Silver Spur Mine (ML5932) form one metallogenic target area and are believed to share the same source, structure, and mode of mineralisation.
