Brisbane City Council's cabs service provides shared transport for residents to get to their local shops. The service runs on set days at set times.

You can use Council Cabs if you are:

  • over 60 years old, or
  • mobility impaired, or
  • a Pensioner Concession Card or Commonwealth Seniors Health Card holder.

Council Cabs offers weekly, fortnightly and monthly services. The service collects you from home and takes you to the local shopping centre and back for an affordable fare.

There is a one-time registration process when you book your first cab service.
