Queensland Spatial Cadastral Fabric (QSCF) - by area of interest
The Queensland Spatial Cadastral Fabric (QSCF) replaces the deprecated Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB). It is built on Esri Parcel Fabric technology to well-established spatial data standards.QSCF provides the spatial representation of every current land parcel in Queensland, its legal Lot on Plan description, and relevant attributes.This dataset supersedes any DCDB-derived dataset.This dataset allows you to extract your area of interest using the 'clip, zip and ship' functionality. You can select areas by local government area, city or suburb (locality) or freehand over small areas. The data is updated nightly and can be downloaded by searching the QSpatial website for 'QSCF'. You cannot download the entire State in one single order.Definition of spatial fields O_SHAPE_Area (in SQM): is the area in square metres, for the parcel produced from data that is displayed in either GDA94 or 2020 Lat/Long spherical (does not represent surveyed area). LOT_AREA (in SQM): is the area displayed on the Survey plan for the Lot (Lot 1 on MRY40) as represented in a 2D projection with distances measure in horizontal (planimetric). CA_AREA_SQM (in SQM): is a system calculated area for the parcel polygon in a 2d projection environment UTM Easting and Northing, MGA projection with a local datum derived from either GDA 94 or 2020, allowing for UTM projection scale factor and limitations, reliability of the data, and any error produced when uploading the data, or other ambiguity such as ambulatory boundaries.For more information about QSCF please visit our Spatial Application Support page (https://spatial-qld-support.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/QSUITE/pages/1067515932/Cadastre+and+Address+Modernisation+CAM).
